Juried Art Show 2024

What:

This year TAMF will be hosting its first juried Art show to be added in with the expected festival activities. The Art show will be accessible during festival operating hours, with an added “invite only” opening the evening prior.

When:

Invite Only Opening: Friday, October 18
Show: Saturday & Sunday, October 19 & 20

Details:

Any artist can apply, so long as if they are chosen the artists are able to drop-off and pick up their work in person during the given time slots in the week leading up to the show. Submissions are $10 each, and there is no limit to the number of individual submissions.

Drop-off and Pick- Up will need to be handled by the artist, or a pre-assigned contact. Artists are welcome to sell their pieces, but will need to handle the sale themselves. All Art needs to stay hanging, even if a sale takes place, until the end of the event Sunday afternoon.

If your art is chosen for the TAMF Juried Art Show, you will automatically qualify for a free booth space in our Art village (worth $200) and your booth number will be listed on the artwork’s label so that viewers will know how to find you. We encourage any artists who will be in the show to take advantage of this so that viewers can meet the artist and buy art from them directly.

Art Requirements:

Art must be able to hang. The dimensions must be no larger than 48” on any side and must weigh under 10 lbs. Art will need to have a hanging system in place, or permissions to add hanging to the back of the work as needed. All content needs to be appropriate for public consumption of all ages. Please avoid explicit, violent, or offensive visual subjects.

The judging will take place prior to the show by a group of professional non-partisan artists, which will include this year’s muralist. Those who place will be posted and promoted on the TAMF social media as the winners for the 2024 year, have a ribbon placed near their art to signify their placement, and get a free 2024 TAMF shirt.
